Who we Are

ACTHAB is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting African culture, health, tourism, and wellbeing. Through a variety of programs, we seek to preserve and celebrate African heritage while empowering communities with resources to improve mental, physical, and economic wellbeing. From organizing cultural festivals and art exhibitions to providing wellness and charity programs and eco-tourism initiatives, ACHTAB fosters growth, sustainability, and global awareness of Africa’s rich cultural diversity.

It all started with a vision to transform lives. Founded on 23rd May 2024., our initiative began with a small group of volunteers who believed in the power of community-driven solutions. What started as a local outreach program has grown into a movement that has impacted over a lot of lives across various regions.

From our first clean water project to launching education programs, every step has been driven by a commitment to fostering resilience and hope.

HISTORY OF ACHTAB

The Association Culturelle Humanitaire Touristique Artistique et du Bien-Être (ACHTAB) was officially founded on 23rd May 2024. The organization was born from a shared vision to celebrate the richness of African culture, foster humanitarian efforts, promote eco-tourism, and create a space for art, healing, and wellbeing. ACHTAB represents a harmonious blend of cultural preservation, sustainable development, and community empowerment, embodying Africa’s vibrant diversity and unity.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE FOUNDATION

ACHTAB was established to address the growing need for a platform that integrates culture, art, tourism, and humanitarian efforts. The founders envisioned an organization that would:

  • Celebrate African heritage through festivals, art exhibitions, and cultural events.
  • Empower communities by promoting wellbeing and offering sustainable poverty solutions.
  • Enhance eco-tourism by showcasing Africa’s natural beauty while preserving the environment.
  • Provide healing spaces for emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

OUR GOALS IN POVERTY ALLEVIATION

As part of its mission, ACHTAB aims to address poverty by:

  • Creating sustainable job opportunities through tourism and cultural projects.
  • Supporting education and skills training for underprivileged communities.
  • Facilitating access to resources like clean water, healthcare, and food security.
  • Promoting community-based eco-tourism initiatives to foster economic independence.

Achievements

  • Eco-Cabins

    Constructed bamboo pyramid cabins, offering eco-friendly and culturally inspired accommodations.

  • Eco-Tourism

    Initiated eco-tourism projects, including guided tours to nearby waterfalls and plans for garden retreats.

  • Healing Space

    Built a healing space for art therapy, emotional healing, and cultural exchange.
